Uluwatu in 3 days: a cliff temple and a Jimbaran evening

Check in, then visit Jimbaran Beach

1. 01Transfer to the hotel for lunch and rest, checking whether early room access is available.
2. 02Travel to Jimbaran Beach in the late afternoon and agree on a return pickup point.
3. 03Walk briefly on the public beach and rest clear of the waves. Check local advice separately before swimming.
4. 04For a seafood dinner, confirm weight, cooking charges and the tax-inclusive total before ordering, then return to your hotel.

If arrival is late, skip Jimbaran and rest at the hotel; keep the temple for tomorrow.

Uluwatu Temple and an optional performance

1. 01Spend the morning at the hotel or a nearby café, without trying to visit several beaches below the cliffs.
2. 02Rest after lunch and travel to the temple in the late afternoon, following current entry and dress guidance.
3. 03Walk the open cliff paths slowly, staying behind barriers and keeping loose belongings packed around monkeys.
4. 04If choosing Kecak, eat before the performance and plan around your confirmed session. Check the programme, seats, separate fee and pickup afterward. Without the show, finish the temple visit with a nearby dinner and hotel rest.

The temple visit stands on its own if performance seats are unavailable. Religious events and access restrictions take priority.

A morning at GWK before the airport

1. 01After breakfast and packing, check GWK Cultural Park’s opening arrangements and travel there.
2. 02Allow one to two hours for statue exteriors and plazas. Distinguish the statue interior tour and extra performances from basic admission.
3. 03Have an early lunch and collect stored bags, with check-out and vehicle waiting agreed beforehand.
4. 04Transfer to DPS with the airline’s required buffer. If time is tight, replace GWK with departure preparations.
