On the second day, after seeing Nagoya Castle and Honmaru Palace, board the Hida Limited Express at 12:48 and arrive at Gero at 14:29. The sightseeing is condensed into the city and lasts for 3 days and 2 nights with a final night at a hot spring.

The Oasis 21 rooftop ‘Spaceship of Water’ is usually open from 10:00–21:00, and the underground plaza is usually open from 06:00–23:00. Since it is one subway stop from Osu to Sakae, the route will not be reversed on the first day.
The rooftop may be temporarily closed in case of strong winds or bad weather. At this time, switch to an above-ground walk in Hisaya Odori Park.
MORNING IN GERO

Gero Onsen Joint Village is an open-air museum that collects joint-structure private houses moved from places such as Shirakawa-go. 08:30–17:00, last admission 16:30, adult ¥800. On the return day, it is safer to take a taxi and get down at 09:35 for the 10:27 train.

For DAY 1, Daiwa Roynet is better for spacious rooms and separate bathrooms, and Meitetsu Inn is better for airport line access and low prices. DAY 2 is Suimeikan for its accessibility to the station and choice of large public baths, and Yunoshimakan for its cultural heritage architecture and anniversary stay.
