ONE CITY · ONE ISLAND
one night in the city,
One night on the island.
On the first day, we will see the record of peace and the heat of the iron plate in Hiroshima, and on the second day, we will go to Miyajima and sleep on the island. The key is not the number of attractions, but the tides and time of day. Instead of only seeing Itsukushima Shrine during the day and then returning, try visiting the Great Torii floating on the water, the beach when the water has receded, and the coast at night after the tourists have left, depending on the tides on your travel date.

This is not normal.
Transfer between two sections at Momijidani Station and arrive at Shishiiwa Station. If you come down from View Taiwan, it will take about 1 hour and 30 minutes for a round trip, and if you walk to the observatory at the top of Mount Misen, it will take about an hour more for a round trip. Don't rush to meet the 16:00 closing time, but if the wind forces the train to stop running, change to taking a walk around Daishoin and Momijidani.
As of recent, upbound 09:00–16:00, downbound 09:20–16:30, adult round trip ¥2,000. During peak seasons, a time reservation system may apply and service may be closed during high winds, lightning, or inspections.
TIDE BEFORE TIME
Rather than a fixed timetable,
The sea of that day first.
The walk time to Great Torii and the time the shrine floats change daily. Enter your travel dates in the Miyajima Tourism Association tide table and change the order of DAY 2 Shrine and Mount Misen. An overnight stay on the island gives you two opportunities - one in the evening and the next morning - but it does not guarantee that you will always be able to see both tide levels.
WHERE TO STAY
Two island ryokans,
Two city hotels
Recommendation Conclusion
For DAY 1, KOKO is better for easy access to the airport and JR, and Intergate is better for the Peace Park and evening routes.
